Danish duo The Raveonettes are about to release their third album 'Pretty In Black'. The sound of the new album is set to be more poppy and expansive than its predecessors, with less of their trademark wall of distortion. The core duo of Sune Rose Wagner and Sharin Foo have now expanded to a five-piece, with the addition of extra musicians including bassist Anders Christensen. The new album features guest appearances from Ronnie Spector, Suicide's Martin Rev and former Velvet Underground drummer Maureen Tucker. The band are about to embark on a lengthy stint in the States, before returning to Europe for the festival season.
