Flicks in the Sticks 2005

Lowdham plays host to the fourth annual Flicks in the Sticks, a film festival with a difference. From 4-6 March, Lowdham Village Hall will show a mix of new and classic films including Finding Neverland, Enduring Love and Brighton Rock.

Description:For one weekend, Lowdham Village Hall is transformed into a cinema for the fourth annual Flicks in the Sticks festival. The event features films for every age group, a film quiz and plenty of ice cream!

This year Flicks in the Sticks has the theme 'films of the book', with adaptations of work by the likes of Ian McEwan, Graham Greene, Jane Austen and Shakespeare. The festival will show a selection of films for all of the family, including a mixture of old classics and current favourites.

Flicks in the Sticks is held in the unique surroundings of Lowdham Village Hall and is celebrating its fourth year. Have a look below to see the full programme of events.

  • 7:00pm - Enduring Love
  • 9:00pm - Brighton Rock

Sunday 6th March

  • 2:00 Finding Neverland
  • 4:30 Bridge and Prejudice
  • 7:30 Merchant of Venice
