Mansun album cover

Mansun - Kleptomania

Nigel Bell talks to Paul Draper
All things must come to an end and Mansun have signed off with a 3 CD collection of the lost 4th album, rarities and unreleased tracks.

They were Brit Pop survivors but no more - Mansun have called it a day. But to wrap things off nicely they've released a 3-CD collection of 37 tracks with material from 1995 - 2003.

Kleptomania includes Mansun's lost 4th album plus EP tracks, B-sides and unreleased material.

It's a must for Mansun fans. The band's Paul Draper has been talking to Nigel Bell about the demise of the group and the new release, plus a bit about touring in Nottingham.

During the interview he talks about:-

  • The end of Mansun
  • The box set
  • Glad the "lost" album is now out
  • Covering "Shot By Both Sides"
  • Touring memories at Rock City
  • Not being in touch with ex-band members

Kleptomania is out now, it's released on Parlophone.

Fandy
This is indeed a 'must have' for the Mansun fans! Each song whether it's finished or not, is a jewel for the ear; a typical Mansun characterestic. Paul Draper's voice is heavenly and it won't bore you. Same to say for the music composition, melodies and the structure of the 4th album. (Built in surprises, hidden tracks)Mansun is one of the most underrated British bands ever, they deserve better! Shame this band is no more and other bands are not coming close to this wonderful band.
