Therapy? - Never Apologise Never Explain

Vaz Malik
Veteran Irish rockers return – and they’re rockin’.

Who:

Trio from Northern Ireland who made it big at the end of the 80s but have gone through several line up changes before reverting to a three-piece and boasting “the original bile and bite is back.”

Interesting fact:

They rehearsed this album along the road at Derby.

Verdict:

Raw, loud, basic rock. The Darkness sound like wimps by comparison. Therapy? have experimented changing their sound (Infernal Love) but Never Apologise just balst out the numbers. Plenty of blaspheming, plenty of stop, start guitars; it’s the perfect excuse for flicking away your dandruff as you launch into your air guitar solo. Perish the Thought boasts the line “it could be worse, I could be you.” Therapy? have refound their confidence. They know what they do well and on this performance they do it better than most.
