This stop is a microcosm of everything along Route One.
The stop itself is slap bang in the middle of a residential street
and within spitting distance of places of worship, community centres,
sporting facilities, service industries a brewery and, naturally,
a pub.
Jump off here if you're in a rush and want to squeeze lots of tasks
into a short time.

This is adjacent to the stop in the middle of a little grassy bank.
Benches offer a haven for book loving office workers at lunch.

Good food, cask ales, live entertainments and a beer garden and

Offers advice on welfare rights, housing, immigration and nationality,
an Indian visa service, a day centre for older people, a lunch club
(open to general public), women's groups, a youth club, an after
school club, a club for children excluded from school, educational
courses, a stroke club and a meals on wheels service to the Indian
Community and other local residents. And they offer all this in
Gujarati, Hindi and Punjabi, plus access to interpreters.
