Take a 360° tour of the tram stops of Route One. Click on any of the stops on the map below and you'll be whisked off to the front of the queue.

Susie Hall's virtual guide
Sit in traffic no more. After months of delayed starts, tramless tracks, and noisy practice runs, Nottingham's tram system is finally about to open to the public.

As tram travellers can be whisked from Hucknall to Midland Station in a swift and smooth 33 minutes, even the most anti-trammists must admit to being a bit excited about hopping on for the first time.

I trawled the length and breadth of Line One to bring you a pictorial treat - an illustrated guide to where, when and why you might want to hop on and off.

Starting at the city centre's Station Street the route winds northwards, through the city centre, residential area and waste ground. If your adventurous streak has fallen by a wayside somewhere, stay in your chair and follow the links.
