Situated within the shadows of the former Shipstones Brewery, this is a distinctive, recently renovated pub just off the main Radford Road.

It can be found right next to Shipstone Street tram stop (check out the Beer By Tram Guide).

Real ale fans will give The Lion a roar of approval… as ten hand-pumps dispense a wide selection of ever-changing ales.

There's entertainment every night of the week.

The pub is also one of Nottingham’s premier live music venues with live Jazz every Sunday.

Meals are also available daily, as are their hunger-beating doorstep sandwiches.
