The
Rules
1.
To be eligible to enter The Spin, you must currently reside in the
transmission area of one of the six radio stations - Radio Merseyside,
Radio Lancashire, GMR (Greater Manchester Radio), Radio Leeds, Radio
Sheffield or BBC North Yorkshire Radio York. You should also not
have a previous BBC Radio Drama credit.
2.
Your script, CV and cover letter must be legibly typed.
3.
We will keep your details to advise you of future events and opportunities.
Please specify in your covering letter if you would prefer us not
to.
4.
Submissions must arrive by the deadline, 28 February 2003.
5.
We cannot accept scripts by fax or email.
6.
The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered
into.
7.
All rights in material submitted with your entry will continue to
belong to you, and if the BBC wishes to use it (other than for purposes
of judging the award), you will be offered a contract or commission
in accordance with the BBC's standard practices.
8.
Recipients of awards agree by accepting the award to develop the
work and give permission for broadcast in accordance with the BBC's
standard practices.
9.
The winner and runners-up will be announced on 28 March 2003.
10.
The winning six plays will be broadcast in Spring 2003.
