It's
that time of year when York goes completely Roman! The 2005 York
Roman Festival takes place on 5th-7th August.
Find
out here what's taking place and where, so you can plan your Roman
activities.

The
city of York is playing host to its ancient Roman residents during
the first weekend in August. For Friday 5th, Saturday 6th and Sunday
7th August, the city will become Eboracum once again!
Visitors
to the event will be able to watch or take part in a whole range
of Roman events. It's all very hands on!

The
York Roman Festival is a city wide event, with activities taking
place in St Sampson's Square, Parliament Square, the Coppergate
Centre, Barley Hall, Dean's Park and the Museum Gardens.
