There's no question that natural beauty
abounds in North Yorkshire, but the county is also home to some
fantastic feats of engineering and design.
Monasteries, castles, railway stations and churches - North Yorkshire
has plenty of buildings that reflect the ingenuity of man to create
beautiful additions to the breathtaking landscape.
But what is your favourite example of the built environment? Perhaps
it's the splendour of Byland Abbey or the grandeur of Castle Howard?
Whatever your choice is, we want you to nominate your suggestions
for a programme on the Seven Man-made Wonders of Yorkshire due to
be screened on BBC1 in January 2006.
The programme will be presented by BBC weatherman Paul Hudson.
So who better to read your nominations that the maverick meteorologist
himself?
To nominate the most splendid example of bricks and mortar in North
