One of our resident 'luvvies', our Neil started treading the boards at a very young age. He first caught the musical bug when he appeared in the chorus of a touring version of 'Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat' at the age of 12 at York Theatre Royal. Since then, he's appeared in many musicals and concerts in North Yorkshire.

His Sunday afternoon programme allows Neil to share his passion for movies and musicals, from the timeless Rodgers and Hammerstein shows to the latest West End extravaganzas by Andrew Lloyd Webber and co, and some great film soundtracks too.

On Sunday mornings from 6, Neil brings you the best inspirational and religious music to lift your spirits and give your vocal chords a workout. From Hymns to gospel, from inspirational pop to News Christian music, it's the most uplifting start for your Sunday.

Songs from the Shows

Each week you'll hear music from local choirs and choral societies, such as the choirs of York Minster and Ripon Cathedral. If you have a favourite piece of inspirational music, why not let Neil know about it. He may be able to include it on a future edition of the programme.
