Artists' Quarter

I am an artist/maker living & working on the North York Moors. I am presently creating nature-inspred digital art in the mediums of video & photography.

I am working towards a video installation entitled ‘Four Elements’ for The Gallery, Ryedale Folk Museum, Hutton-le-Hole,  from 13th to 27th April 08, as part of the Open Season.

I am blessed with living in a remote and beautiful location within the National Park & have just to step out to be in the wilderness where I can happily spend hours looking deep into nature & noting light & elemental changes in my surroundings. 

I enjoy capturing the mark of the seasons in foliage or filming creatures going about their business.  The elements, seasons & wonder of nature are my inspiration.

The Solar festivals are my living yearly wheel, which I follow diligently, honouring the premise that by attuning to these festivals we help to heal ourselves, families, communities & planet as a whole. 

This work is acknowledged in Starseed Divination as well as under the banner of ‘Gaiagasm’.  As Gaiagasm we are a group of multi-media artists whose work is centred around the Solar Festivals. 

Between us we recently compiled a promotional Solar Wheel Diary including collage & mirror nature photography plus words of wisdom and an ambient music CD, which we're launching at the time of the Winter Solstice 06. We are also compiling material for a Winter Solstice webcast, (21st - 23rd December 06). Watch this space!!

I have exhibited in Chalice Well, Glastonbury, The Goddess Conference, Glastonbury, & most recently in the Visionary Arts Field at the Sunrise Festival in Somerset. 

In the past, as a clothes designer I have twice taken part in London’s Alternative Fashion Week and appeared on HTV Wales.
