School closures in York
Fulford School, Carr Infant School, Hob Moor Oaks Special School (not Hob Moor Primary School) Applefields Special School
The following are expected to have partial closures: Burton Green - Nursery (Not the primary school) Knavesmire - Nursery (morning session only - afternoon session will be open - school will be open all day)
School closures in North Yorkshire
Childhaven Community Nursery School, Brougham Street Community Nursery School, Easingwold Secondary School, Overdale Community Primary School, Selby High School, Springwater Special School, East Whitby Primary School, Whitby Community College, Tadcaster Grammar School (There will also be a number of schools with partial closures and/or lesson changes.)
In addition to the closures in North Yorkshire, the following schools will have limited school meals: Sowerby Community Primary School, Thirsk School & Sixth Form College, Barlby High School, Holy Family Catholic High School, Longmans Hill Community Primary School, Gladstone Road Infant School & Junior School, Newby & Scalby Primary School, Caedmon School, St Augustines Catholic School, Cayton Community Primary School , Hipswell Church of England Primary School, Kirkby & Great Broughton Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School, Stokesley Community Primary School, Romanby Primary School, Wensleydale School, Stokesley School

Libraries closed in York
All community libraries and the mobile library will be operating as normal and the Central library will be open (both lending and reference), although there may be a limited service with the reference section open from 9.30 – 5.30 when it would normally close at 8pm.
Libraries closed in North Yorkshire
Barlby Library will be closed whilst Scarborough Library and Harrogate Library will have a reduced service. Sherburn Mobile Library and – Northallerton Mobile Library will be off the road
Leisure facilities closed in York
Edmund Wilson Swimming Pool and Yearsley Swimming Pool will be closed. The City Archive will also be closed, as will Rowntree Park.
Leisure facilities closed in North Yorkshire
We've not received any information regarding the closure of leisure centres in North Yorkshire.
Services/departments closed in York
It is likely that residents whose normal collection is Tuesday will suffer some disruption to the service.
The Older Persons' Information Fair will be operating in the Guildhall and residents can collect bus tokens as usual, though they may have to cross picket lines. The Finance Centre will be closed.
The following centres will be closed: Customer Advice Centre (10-12 George Hudson Street), Learning Disabilities Yearsley Bridge, Huntingdon Road, Pinetrees, New Horizons, Pastimes and Community Base, Park View and IDS, Mental Health Sycamore House and Adult Services Occupational Therapy.
The Childrens and Adult Care Available and Emergency Housing Repairs are both available via Emergency telephone contact.
Acomb Housing Office and St Leonard's Housing office are both likely to be closed.
Kent Street, Piccadilly, Shambles and Foss Bank car parks will NOT be in use at any time during the strike day.
Signs will be erected on Friday 24 March at the entrances to the above car parks to state “ Due to Industrial action this car park will be closed on Tuesday 28 March”
Outer Ring Road VMS signs will be set on the 28 March to advise of the closure of these car parks
Services/departments closed in North Yorkshire
Refuse collection in Hambleton will be disrupted on 28 March, with all wagons off the road. Collections of green waste are cancelled on 28 March, and rolled forward one day.
Both the Scarborough Customer Relations Office and Ripon Customer Relations Office will be closed. The local social work officers will be closed to personal callers although there will be minimal admin staff at work. There will be no social services transport.
