BBC Radio York's pub quiz in Northallerton went so well, we're determined to hold some more! Elly Fiorentini hosted the quiz, with a willing assistant in the form of Andrew Holland, the radio station's CSV Action Producer. Six teams took part, from the Ugliest Hookers to the Simple Minds, the team names themselves were a bit of a revelation. Elly just about managed to pronounce them without embarrassing herself...

The questions were a mix of general knowledge, music, anagrams and a picture round. The winning team, the Ugliest Hookers, came in at 63 out of 67 - and well deserved their prize. As well as being our first pub quiz it was also a special night for one of our team members - their 21st birthday! So without even having to answer any questions (lucky them!) we made sure the birthday boy got a little treat of his own. We all sang Happy Birthday - much to his embarrassment!
