Take a look at his paintings in the online gallery... ![]() Detail: Solstice tendrel frisson I am a Yorkshire artist and have been creating, exhibiting and selling my art for many years, in galleries and corporate establishments throughout the UK. My natural gift for creativity and experimentation within the arts has brought me much recognition throughout the art world and success wherever I have shown my work. I am currently producing original, creative, contemporary works of art using oils, acrylics and watercolours together with other mixed media. My creations comprise floral impressionist style compositions and imaginative landscapes and encompass my continual development of a new series of volcanic, organic and fossil works. ![]() Detail: Fusiform of lepidotes In this new series the vibrant colourful images of natural lava formations applied with the palette knife spring from the paintings surface. My works explore the use of free movements of colour, light and texture to create fresh, harmonious and abstract images which take their inspiration directly from nature. I am based in Huby, near Harrogate, North Yorkshire and I enjoy working 'al fresco' as well as from my studio and I am constantly inspired by the nature that surrounds me.
