David Davies returns

David Davies was a presenter on North West Tonight (well, Look North West) before he moved to work for the Football Association. After the publication of his autobiography, he returned to Studio B to talk to Tony Livesey.

David Davies was one of the most recognisable faces in the higher reaches of English football for years. He was there while the balls clicked in the velvet bag before the FA Cup draw and as the Football Association went into meltdown he was its public face.

An autobiography was always going to be on the cards given what he'd seen in his time at Lancaster Gate and Soho Square.

He talks to Tony about the portion of his career that was spent on Oxford Road in Manchester and how it will always have a special place in his heart. But Davies also describes what it's like to get so close to the players who are idolised by millions. He also talks candidly about the Faria Alam scandal that rocked the FA back in 2004.
