North West Tonight on YouTube

We like to think that we keep the best of our programme on our website but sometimes, such as with individual reports, that isn't so easy. But now you can watch things again on the North West Tonight channel on YouTube.

With an introduction from Gordon and Ranvir as they sit on the sofas in the North West Tonight studio in Manchester, some of our funnier, quirkier reports are now available to watch on YouTube.

To kick things off, we have tales of Superlambananas and strange lights over the skies of Liverpool. Orphaned birds are taught to sign with the help of birdsong CDs in Manchester and in Southport, reporter Laura Yates takes part in an aeronautical masterclass ahead of the town's air show.

If you want to keep up-to-date on what is added to the channel, why not sign up for a YouTube account and become our 'friend' on the site. You will then be notified every time a new video is added.

And if there's anything you'd like to see from the programme again, let us know and we'll see if we can find it in our archives and put it online.
