He is also host of the BBC Radio Lancashire breakfast show, which can be heard Monday to Friday from 7am until 9am.

His work on North West Tonight has taken him around the world, to everywhere from Dubai, where he once worked for a newspaper, to the swampy marshlands of... Bury FC’s training ground.

Over recent years, Tony has appeared on over 100 TV shows on all the major channels.

He presented the game show Traitor on BBC 2 which was nominated for a Golden Rose at Montreux and he has written and presented two major documentaries for BBC2 called Crumpet and Beefcake.

He has written and presented a five-part series for Channel 4 called Seaside Secrets and been a regular panellist on Have I Got News For You as well as guesting on Never Mind The Buzzcocks and 29 Minutes of Fame on BBC1 - alongside Matt Lucas and Jo Brand.

Tony lives in Lancashire with his wife and two children. He is also one of the most recognisable supporters of Burnley Football Club.
