Eleanor Moritz

After graduating from journalism college in Preston, she worked at BBC Radio Lancashire full-time from 1988 until 1994.

Eleanor undertook various roles at the station, including presenting and producing the breakfast show. She eventually became the news editor there.

On leaving radio, Elly joined BBC North West Tonight and is now one of the reporters covering general news across the region.

She always carries wellies and a waterproof coat in the car since being caught in a situation, perhaps best forgotten, with a cow in a cowshed.

Eleanor is married with three children and lives in Manchester.
