Dianne Oxberry

Before her days in BBC Weather she enjoyed seven years working at BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 1 alongside Steve Wright and Simon Mayo. 

She joined BBC North West Tonight after studying at the Met Office College and for 12 years has been working a bi-media weather presenter.  Her mornings are spent co hosting BBC Radio Manchester’s Breakfast Show alongside Eamonn O’Neal.

Dianne has been nominated for Best Regional Presenter at the Royal Television Society Awards and she has worked as a reporter for BBC Sport covering the Great North Run and the Manchester 10k.

Away from the BBC she is in demand hosting award ceremonies such as the North West Sports Awards, the North West Tourism Awards, the National Training Awards, The Teaching Awards, and Lancashire Telegraph Business Awards. 

She also presented the BBC’s spectacular stage event “The Blue Planet Live” alongside the Manchester Camerata and composer George Fenton at the Manchester Evening News Arena.
