Under 'Bellaghy - Curios', it states many Scullions went to Philadelphia. I'm related to several that settled in Jordan, New York. All are buried in St. Patrick's cemetery (I count 9).
Other immigrants were Agnew, McPeak and McNally.

I am the grandaughter of Henry McPeake from Northern
Ireland. Henry is the son of Neil/Neal McPeake
and Bridget Mulholland married 1890. Other siblings
in the family were Frank, John, Mary Teresa. Two
other siblings emigrated to New York in the early
1900's. If anyone has any information, no matter
how remote, I would be grateful to hear it.
Susan Singler - Nov '06
I'm Zera Susan McPeak Singler,
My father was Zera Charles McPeak of Henderson,
NC.
His father was Zera Covelia McPeak. According to
my father, we are descendants of Jonathan McPeak
of "somewhere in Ireland" I think we may
also have a Cornelius McPeak in the family tree.
I would love to visit Ireland and connect with
other McPeaks. Any ideas as to where I might start?

brothers, 2 sisters.

Cristina Lea (McPeak) Ware - Jan

My name is Cristina (McPeak) Ware. My part of the
McPeak family lives in the Warren and White Counties
of Tennessee in America. I am unsure of when the
McPeaks immigrated to America, but we came through
New York and part of the family settled in Tennessee
and it has been said the rest went West. I wondered
if any one had learned of our branch of family and
had information? We came here from Ireland somtime
before the 1800's, but we probably originated in
England. I would appreciate anything you could supply.

I am trying to find any information on Jane Scullan
[Scullion] and John McLean/McErlane. I have just
found out that these are my Gt. Gt. Grandparents.
They are the Parents of Catherine McErlane, who
married John Houston in Magherafelt, Co. Londonderry
on June 06th. 1865. I have been able to trace Catherine
and John to Glasgow, Scotland and have all of their
children.....but can't find any info. on either
Catherine's Parents or John's Parents.
John's Parents are Robert Houston and Helen McLellan....
I believe they are from the area of Ballynease,
in the parish of Ballyscullion. Any help will be
greatly appreciated.
Sincerely, Cathy

I am a Scullion residing in Hamilton, Scotland very
near Blantyre although i am not aware of any of
my relatives resding there.
I have traced my Gt Grandfather John Scullion (via
world war 1 army records) to Glenfane in County
Leitrim, where the name drifts into Scollin or Scollon
his father was Owen and her appears to be on the
Griffiths Valuation in the 1850's as Scollin in
a townland called Carrickrevagh, Parish Cloonclare.
I have a modest website with my limited research
- www.scullionhistory.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk
Any info welcome.

Scullion Family Tree is being worked on now for
those who settle in Jordan, NY and their families
who remained in the area for generations. My grandmother,
Mary E. Scullion, married in the USA Richard McPeak,
also from Bellaghy area.
Lee Scullion - May '05
My Grandfathers sisters Lizzie and Rose went to
America, think they went to Washington. The Scullion's
in our family anyway stayed in Blantyre in Glasgow,
but came from Ireland. I am trying to do my family
tree. We are in Scotland and England now. American
Scullions have set up a family site which is www.scullion.com
- have a look.

I am very interested in any information about McPeak
history.
I understand that my father's gg grandfather and
two brothers came to the United States in the early

My Great Grandmother was Nancy Scullion who married
Peter Mc Nally. Their son William was my Grandfather,
he married Roseanna Magee on April 29, 1902. Roseanna
was the daughter of Pat Magee and Mary Major. They
raised their family in Upper Culbann. My mother,
Mary McNally, emigrated from home aboard the SS
Tuscania with her sister Sarah in April of 1930.
They settled in Philadelphia, Pa.

My Grandmother, Ann Scullion daughter of James Scullion
and Jane Cassidy, emigrated to Montreal Canada as
did 3 of her brothers and 1 sister - 1880's-1990.
She married my grandfather James McNichol (possibly
spelled McNicholl) in Montreal who was also from
Bellaghy and Toomebridge.
I am interested to know where my great-grandparents
would be buried, if they died before 1910
Jim McNally - August '04
My Great grandmother was Nancy Scullion and married
Peter McNally. Both were from Bellaghy and are buried
in St. Mary's near Bellaghy. Their son, Andrew, my
