Ideal Dates

We get to meet quite a few celebs here in Belfast so on the run up to Valentine's day we just had to ask them who their ideal Valentine date would be. Have a look to see who'd they'd really like be spending 14th February with!!!

David HolmesDavid Holmes, music producer and soundtrack composer:
After seeing a photo of Heidi Klum yesterday, i'd have to say her.

Dom JolyDom Joly, BBC 3 presenter:
Oh that's a tricky one. I'm quite into Edward The Confessor actually. I just think he was an all round good guy. It would be a very interesting date in a little romantic Italian restaruant.

Simon MayoSimon Mayo, Radio 5 Live presenter:
Meg Ryan, Meg Ryan and Meg Ryan.

David Dickenson David Dickenson, Bargain Hunt, BBC1:
My ideal valentine date would be Sophia Lauren after my lovely wife of course. She's sitting beside me at the minute!
David Dickenson was a guest on the Patrick Kielty Almost Live show.

DonnaDonna Legge, Radio 1 DJ:
I'm going to be greedy and go for the whole cast of Ocean's Eleven (apart from Julia Roberts). I'd love to go on a 5-star date in Vegas so that I can cart whichever one of them takes my fancy, off to a wedding chapel!
I'd also like to spend Valentine's night with George Clooney and Matt Damon. But if they're too popular then I'll have Eddie Izzard - I like a man who can make me laugh! He might take longer than me to get ready though...

Rob BrydonRob Brydon, BBC 2 cult comedy Marion and Geoff: Well that's an easy one isn't it? Um, um, OK, Priscilla Presley in her hey day - but not in her Dallas days. Or i'd rather like a date with Sharleen Spiteri with a hint of Carol Smillie. But actually, I'll tell you who I really like - Sophie Marceau. She would be nice but she'd need to lose a bit of the attitude!' Rob was a guest on the Patrick Kielty Almost Live show.

ChristineChristine Bleakley, BBC NI presenter:
My ideal date would have to be Peter Kay - not because I fancy him but because he would have me laughing all night - what more could you ask for!!

RalphRalph McLean, BBC NI presenter: It would have to be Diana Rigg circa 1967 and preferably dressed in her Avengers outfit! I'm a massive fan of The Avengers...the best TV series ever! I could be the lovely Mrs Peel's Steed anyday!

DeniseDenise Watson, BBC NI sport presenter: Apart from my lovely Volleyball playing Husband David my ideal date would be Elvis Presley. I'm absolutely in love with the man, particularly how he looked in the 50's and 60's (Not in the 70's White jumpsuit faze!) Other than that, I had a chance meeting with Gareth Gates in a bar in London a few months ago, so he would also be an option. He's lovely looking and very shy, but far too young for me! And actor-wise I think I could easily spend an evening with Viggo Mortensen (who plays Aragon in Lord of the Rings).

Paul McCleanPaul McClean, Radio Ulster presenter: It would have to be Lauren Bacall. Without question she's the most smoulderingly sexy lady that ever lived. She could tame Bogey at the age of 19, so she must have had a mind of her own too. Plus she taught me how to whistle…

Hugo Duncan: Radio Ulster presenter and singer: My favourite Valentine date would be Dolly Parton - We could wine, dine and sing together from "9 to 5" beside the "Islands In the Stream". At the end of the evening I would give her some "Yellow Roses" and then help her on with her "Coat of Many Colours" and tell her that "I Will Always Love You". I wouldn't even give "Jolene" a second look!
