yellow left edge Jersey has about 45 miles of shoreline and of that about 20 miles are beaches so you can’t be anywhere in the island and be more than 2.5 miles from a beach. There are just plenty of options for you to choose from.

yellow left edge south beaches separator In the south around St Helier and St Aubin there are soft sandy beaches that are very popular with the young tourists and great for water sports but they can get very crowded in the summer. yellow right edge
yellow left edge east beaches separator By contrast the East coast has quiet pebbled beaches and cute coves favoured by the locals.

yellow left edge west beaches separator In the West the Atlantic Ocean provides great waves for surfing like at St Ouens Bay - a five-mile stretch of sandy beach.

yellow left edge North beaches separator And in the North there are beautiful bays popular with families including our favourite Greve de Lecq where the tide never goes out too far to have a swim.
