Belfast friends, actor Richard Orr and Chris Lillie, take a direct flight to one of Northern Ireland's favourite city break destinations - the Dutch capital of Amsterdam.
Richard and Chris are booked into the four star Omega Hotel in the museum quarter.

Easily the nicest way of exploring the city's wonderful architecture and picturesque hidden corners is via the maze of canals. You can walk along them, cycle along them or take a canal bike and pedal through them. There are around 1000 bridges and 160 canals, lined with beautiful old merchants houses, cafés, bars and hotels.

Suzanne takes a tram to Museum Square, which is bounded by the magnificent Rijksmuseum (famous for its collection of Rembrandts), the Stedelijk Museum and the Van Gogh Museum. Meanwhile, Joe investigates a different kind of museum - no, not the Sex Museum, which he manages to walk straight by, but the Heineken Museum, which tells the story of Holland and the world's favourite tipple.

AmsterdamExtra Info: There’s a daily flight to Amsterdam from Belfast and depending on how far in advance you book, it costs from £34 to £150 for a return flight including taxes.
Public transport in Amsterdam is excellent, especially the trams. Most trams leave from Central Station in the centre of Amsterdam. If you’re going to be doing a lot of travelling around, then we suggest you invest in a 'strippen card'. It allows you lots of multiple journeys, but if you’re only going to go on the tram once or twice then you should pay as you go.
