There are no B&B’s in Amsterdam but they do have hotels ranging from 2 star to 5 star. Here's a tip though: When you’re booking your hotel ask them if they’ve got any special deals on because depending on the season and how busy they are, you could end up in 5 star luxury for 3 star prices. It's best to book a hotel in advance, either over the internet or through your travel agent. There are so many tourists to Amsterdam that accommodation tends to be quite scarce. If you don’t have something booked you’re gonna end up sleeping in the park.

Hotel Omega 4star
Chris and Richard stayed in the 4 star hotel Omega. Although they wouldn’t really rate it as a 4 star hotel as they know it, they did find clean and pleasant. The room was a good size and they found the 'breakfast to be fantastic'.
Price: The Hotel Omega will cost you between £80 - £140, depending on when you travel.
These prices are for a room per night based on two people sharing on a bed and breakfast basis.

The Amstel Hotel 5 star
Since the opening in 1867, the Amstel hotel has been recognised as the Netherland's first and most renowned Grand Hotel and the preferred choice of cosmopolitan society - from royalty to celebrities. The Amstel Hotel is very swish and very posh. Michael Jackson has stayed here but one night’s kip in here could thoroughly rupture your bank account.
Price:
From £250 for a room per night based on two people sharing on a bed and breakfast basis.
