| Crete |
|
 |
The
sun-soaked island of Crete
is the destination for the last in the current series of Ulster Fly
along with Donna Gribben and Philip Doherty. A favourite excursion
is to Samaria
Gorge, which cuts through the White Mountains from the
Omalos Plateau to the Libyan Sea and Suzanne and Joe do a bit of research
along the beaches,
which vary between sand and shingle, crowded and secluded. |

|
| Jersey |
|
 |
The
sunny Channel Island of Jersey
is the Ulster Fly destination for the McCann family from Newry. At
only 45 square miles in area, Jersey is perfectly suited for some
leisurely touring. Suzanne hires a car and heads out along the picturesque
east coast, where she discovers the pretty little harbour town of
Gorey
and a string of secluded coves, such as Bouley Bay. And Joe gets on
his bike and explores the quiet lanes and backwaters,
easily and safely navigated via the Green Lanes. |

| Costa
del Sol |
|
|
|
The Dornan family
from Belfast jet off with Joe and Suzanne to the popular resort
of Benalmadena on the Costa del Sol in southern
Spain. Benalmadena
contains all the traditional activities and attractions one would
expect from a busy resort on the Sunshine Coast. Visit the crocodile
farm, don't miss the Tivoli
Amusement Park or do some serious shopping and celebrity
spotting at the exclusive yachting resort of Puerto
Banus, a playground of the rich and famous.

| Amsterdam |
|
 |
Belfast
friends, Richard Orr and Chris Lillie, take a direct flight to one
of Northern Ireland's favourite city break destinations - the Dutch
capital of Amsterdam. There are around 1000 bridges and 160 canals,
lined with beautiful old merchants houses, cafés,
bars and hotels. Suzanne
takes a tram to Museum
Square
while
Joe visits the Heineken
Museum and there's even a spot of rollerblading
on their stay too!

|
| Lapland |
|
 |
The
Harbinson Family from Newtownards are giving themselves a special
treat this Christmas by taking a day trip to the picturesque snowy
landscape of Lapland.
They flew from Belfast for a day packed with sightseeing, activities,
traditional eating, reindeer spotting and, of course, a visit
to Santa. |

|
| New
York |
|
|
Joe and Suzanne
fly solo to the Big
Apple for a spot of seasonal retail therapy and sightseeing.
They prime themselves with a mega New York breakfast in the Carnegie
Deli on Seventh Avenue before setting out to see the spectacular
sights of Manhattan
from a variety of perspectives - an open-topped tour bus, the top
of the Empire
State Building and the Staten
Island Ferry.
