About the programme

Where will you find internet clips, cutting edge animation, innovative short film, puppetry, music and comedy all in one place for the first time on tv?

TEETHGRINDER………the brand new entertainment series on BBC NI!

TEETHGRINDER is like nothing else before on BBC NI.
It’s a fast-paced mix of the best of the web, exciting short film, music and animation from around the world and new local comedy.

It’s aimed at 15 to 26 yr olds - the first generation to grow up with the web, which the show reflects. The material is bite-sized and wide-ranging, as you’d expect on sites like You Tube and viewers won’t know what to expect next.

Each week in our gallery we’ll feature the best material from that week’s show.

The show also features its own website, Blog Jam, on which local characters post their own video blogs.

One of the highlights includes new star, DJ Scrunter, presenter on new community radio station, Belfast 104.5 FM.

TEETHGRINDER is fronted by local man, Peter Dickson, whom viewers will instantly recognise as the voice of almost every massive entertainment show, including The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent!

The nine -part series was produced by Feargal O’Kane. He says, "We’ve wanted to make a show like this for a while because there’s so much good stuff flying around out there. It’s named after the famous Therapy? song and is a fresh approach for BBC NI…I hope you like it."
