About the Programme

To mark Holocaust Remembrance Day on Sunday, January 27, BBC One Northern Ireland will be giving viewers another chance to see the award-winning documentary From Belfast to Dachau, made by Doubleband films.

From Belfast to Dachau, which will be broadcast on BBC One Northern Ireland on Sunday, January 27 at 10.20pm, is a powerful and poignant documentary which tells the story of Belfast man Teddy Dixon, who as a soldier with the US Army 'Rainbow' division, fought in France and Germany and was among the first to discover the horrors of Dachau concentration camp in April 1945.
