BBC Children in Need returns on
Friday, November 14 on BBC One
Northern Ireland from 7pm with a
fantastic offering of stellar
entertainment acts, all appearing to
raise money for disadvantaged
children and young people across the
United Kingdom.
Terry Wogan is joined by Tess Daly and
Fearne Cotton for a spectacular night of
fundraising in a seven-hour show live from
BBC Television Centre, London, featuring
some of the UK’s top TV, musical and
theatrical personalities and acts.
Highlights on the night include a special
edition of Strictly Come Dancing, which sees
presenters teaming up with professionals for
a live dance-off. Watch out for some surprise
judges on the night; BBC Children in Need
themed scenes from Doctor Who and Ashes
to Ashes, plus a musical extravaganza from
Albert Square with the cast of EastEnders
and a very special, live performance by the
BBC newsreaders.
In Northern Ireland, the Pudsey party kicks off with a massive concert live from the King’s Hall, Belfast. Also featured on the night will be highlights from Gerry Anderson and Stephen Nolan’s recent ‘Dash for Cash’ across Northern Ireland as well as films about local projects which have benefitted from BBC Children in Need funding.
Last year on the night, locally BBC Children
in Need raised £606,399 from pledges and
