Student Life Diary

Year 3, Diary entry 25. 28 April 2004.

Due to the severe lack of work I did for the first two weeks of the Easter hols you’d think I’d at least try and start some work before going back to school. Unfortunately my mind doesn’t function in that way and all I could think about was the fact that I only had a week left of freedom!

I used this week wisely to try and go out as much as possible with the little money I had left. We went back to Katy Daly’s pub quiz (and did really badly) but the best night out with the house was on Thursday to the ‘Frisky Disco’ in Auntie Annie’s.

We all were drinking and Mark didn’t get attacked by any Meatloaf look-alikes so it was a great night. We met loads of Niall’s music technology friends and followed them all home for a house party.
However, midway through Fitzroy Ave. we were a wee bit lost and didn’t know exactly where the party was! When we eventually got there we had some super-noodles (don’t ask where we got them!) and after making a batch for the boys we realised we didn’t actually know anyone in the house so decided to leave for home before the sun came up!

After our little spending spree on alcohol this week we were glad to Eric Clapton concerthave already bought our Eric Clapton tickets when he played the Odyssey this weekend. It was a great show and really class to hear him live but the best thing of all was the unusual crowd. It was full of parents and their kids so it was quite a mellow crowd, enough so that I could sneak up to the front without pushing to see an all time legend!
