Ingredients
4 scallops,
shelled
1 spring onion, finely sliced
1 tsp warm white wine vinegar
2 tsp soy sauce
a dash of sesame oil
110g/4oz plain flour
30g/1oz unsalted butter
Method
Preheat
the oven to 220C/425F/Gas 7.
In a food processor, blend together the flour and butter.
Divide the pastry into four and roll each portion into a narrow
long strip.
Place the scallops on a baking sheet and wrap each strip of pastry
tightly round a scallop.
Scatter the onion over the scallops then drizzle over the wine,
soy and sesame oil.
Bake for 10-12 minutes.
Serve immediately on warm plates.
