Do you work in an office with speed dial phones? Reprogramme someone's most used numbers to a 'dial-a-prayer' number.

I loved the one played by a wife on her husband by video recording a Lottery programme and completing a ticket with one line having the winning numbers from that show. Weeks later she turned on the TV for that week's show but activated the video and watched as her husband, convinced he was watching the live show, checked the numbers on the ticket and seeing they'd got a winning line. But perhaps you need to know your husband (or wife ) very well before trying that one….nevertheless - probably unforgettable.

If the day is dry pour a bucket or kettle of water under someone's car and then ask them if their radiator is OK.

A strip of fabric that will tear, and nick a short cut in one edge to make a rip easier. Plant a £1 coin, or something valuable, so that victim will bend down to pick it up. As they bend rip the cloth and watch their reaction.

But whatever you do..make sure your victim can take it… regardless of how much they deserve it!!
