Prosthetics
Science and technology in the form of biology, computer science and engineering have ensured that many people who have lost limbs are able to get on with life with the aid of a prosthesis. In this clip, we follow the prosthetics manager at Musgrave Park Hospital in Belfast as he creates a new fitting for a patient and learn about how a person adapts to life with a prosthetic limb.
