The Good Friday Agreement is committed to addressing the obstacles that have
historically limited women's access to political participation and advancement
in public life. The new Northern Ireland government is obliged to take measures
to combat poverty and promote social inclusion. The Executive's commitment
to making Northern Ireland a more equal and prosperous society will be achieved
by implementing policies for targeting social need and promoting social
inclusion. |
