Art Competition - The Winners

Thanks to everyone who entered our competition!

All your drawings, paintings and collages are wonderful and we have displayed lots of them in our gallery. We received 130 entries and Marilyn Stanford, presenter of the BBC Primary Focus TV programmes, had quite a job selecting 3 winners and here they are;

Marilyn's comments on the winning pictures;

Countryside
"We had a lot of great entries to this section and it was particularly hard to pick a winner. I like the way Sarah has used pencil strokes to get texture and has used patterns in a lovely way."

Lough
"Michael has used layers to get the effect of the water and the sea-bed. He's got texture by using rice and I love the way he scalloped the edge of his picture."

Forest
"Chloe has used different media (paint and pencil) in her picture to good effect and given us lots of different tree shapes and textures."
