This unit explores different methods of media production. Programme 1 News, is a skills based programme, which focuses on newsgathering across a single day. The second programme looks at the process of developing and producing an animation.

Geography / Environment

This unit consists of two programmes which investigate the people and natural resources of Lough Neagh and the Mourne Mountains . The programmes will provide a stimulus for study inside and outside the classroom. It will expand their awareness of people and places and how people use the earth's natural resources close to home.

This unit consists of a single programme, Changing Places, that compares rural and urban life in Northern Ireland today. In the programme we meet Jackson and Rory, two boys who live in different parts of Northern Ireland , and they tell us about the way they live. We learn about the differences they have and also about the many things that they share in common.

 
History
PSHE

This is a unit of three programmes looking at different aspects of History in Northern Ireland . Programme 6 focuses on Canals and how their usage has changed over the years. The second programme in the unit compares the manufacture of linen and lycra. Programme 8 examines monastic life at Nendrum, Strangford Lough.
