Primary Focus is a television series for 9 - 11 year olds
in Northern Ireland. It aims to develop children's interest
in various aspects of life in Northern Ireland past and present,
and, by encouraging an investigative approach inside and outside
the classroom, help develop a range of key skills. |

Primary Focus is no longer broadcast. You can still search for programme information, teacher notes and worksheets in our archive section. Programmes are still available to borrow or purchase from the Audio Visual Recording service at SELB. Please quote the SELB number that can be found on the programme page in your correspondence with the unit.
Clips from a number of TANDY and Today and Yesterday programmes can be found in the For Teachers Connected Learning section in the KS2 Water and KS2 On the Move thematic units.

The Primary Art site contains clips from the popular Art unit which encourages teachers and children to take inspiration from the outside world to create three themed murals. The site provides clips and activities to help the children recreate these murals in the classroom.
