The Culture Club: Ages 7 – 11
The Culture Club provides fun and colourful resources to explore cultural diversity in Northern Ireland. The content and extended learning opportunities span a number of the Northern Ireland Primary Curriculum learning areas - Personal Development and Mutual Understanding; The Arts; The World Around Us and Physical Education.
Our suggested lesson plans make use of content from the TV series, website and a number of ideas for follow up activities. At the heart of The Culture Club, is a desire to get children active with our song and dance routines. All the resources required to do this can be downloaded from the website. We hope that children will enjoy discovering more about local cultures as they work towards their own Culture Club celebration!
