Musical Traditions is a TV series celebrating the distinctive musical traditions found in the north of Ireland. Each programme explores the ways musical traditions are kept alive and passed on to another generation. Musicians also talk about and demonstrate the techniques, regional styles and background of their chosen instrument.
Our free teachers' resources offer background information on the history and social context, points for discussion and suggestions for classroom activities.
