Bandwagon

Blast finds pop potential in young musicians!

Way back in May Blast went on the road to audition over 100 young people who wanted the chance to be part of Blast's pop band.

After visiting four schools and hearing auditions for vocals, guitar, bass. keyboards and drums our judging panel had the tough task of selecting just 30 young people to attend 3 day workshops with musical experts at the Amma Centre in Armagh .

This August, after 3 days of intensive workshops with industry professionals our group of 30 hopefuls were narrowed down to 9 - lead vocals, 4 backing vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards and drums.

Over the next 2 days the newly formed blast pop band set about recording their first single, 'Dreams', a track written by talented young songwriter, Warren Attwell. After recording was finished they filmed a music video to accompany the song.
