Blast at the Milk Cup

Unfortunatly our coverage of the 2009 Milk Cup has now finished, you can always browse through our photos on Flickr or watch a short film about what went on behind the scenes.

This year BBC Blast in conjunction with the NEELB was working with nineteen young people to broadcast seven Milk Cup football matches live from the Ballymena Showgrounds from Monday 27th to Thursday 30th July.

Young people were be filming and directing the action for all the matches as well as producing short documentaries on the opening ceremony and all of the events behind the scenes.

The matches were broadcast live on BBC Interactive, on the BBC Milk Cup site, as well as right here on BBC Blast Northern Ireland and were be available worldwide.
