Brian Moore Short Story Awards

The Call for entries for the Short Story award is now closed. But check www.creativewritersnetwork.org for details of the finalists.

The Brian Moore Short Story Contest is the most prestigious short story competition in Northern Ireland. It is run by the Creative Writers Network and is currently in it's eleventh year.

You can enter as many pieces of your original writing as you like. Each piece must be a maximum of 2000 words and each entry costs £5.

Radio Dramas

Award winning scriptwriter Terry Cafolla and BBC Drama producer Tanya Nash facilitated a 2 day drama workshop at the Armagh Multi Media Access Centre (AmmA). Participants were drawn from local schools with a particular interest in drama. During the course of the workshop young people scripted and acted in short radio dramas, which were recorded in the AmmA studios.
