Saint Patrick's Journey

Fact Finder

I am known as Saint Patrick, the Patron Saint of Ireland. You can call me Patrick because I wasn't made a saint until after I died! You can see pictures of me in books and on stained glass windows – and on 17th March every year, people celebrate my life with festivals and pilgrimages.

I have to say though, most people don’t know the real me. They get some bits right - and some bits wrong. Sometimes artists show me chasing snakes out of Ireland - that always makes me smile because there have never been any snakes in Ireland!

Now, follow me and see if you can find the facts. Remember - a 'fact' is something that is true and definitely happened.
