Sounds Classical continues its celebrity series of interviews, and is this week joined by world renowned pianist Barry Douglas who will be performing at this year's Clandeboye Festival alongside other artists such as Richard Watkins (horn) and Michael D'Arcy (violin).

In our Concert Slot this week we hear the Ulster Orchestra perform music from their recent BBC Invitation concert at the Ulster hall. They perform Grieg's timeless Holberg Suite, and Gordon Jacob's querky and colourful Bassoon Concerto. Joing the orchestra is Northern Irish Arts Council/BBC Northern Ireland Young Musician Platform winner Eanna Monaghan (bassoon).

Other pieces included this week are the RTE Concert Orchestra's performance of Mozart's Horn Concerto No. 2 joined by John Ryan (horn) and conductor Robert Houlihan, and Balfe's I Dreamed I Dwelled in Marble Halls performed by Margaret Burke Sheridan.
