Folk Club

Folk Club takes wings this summer as Colum Sands brings the programme to Scottish audiences for six weeks while BBC Radio Scotland's Archie Fisher and Travelling Folk take a well earned break. Starting on June 20th, the programmes will reflect on our rich shared musical connections in the first hour and, after the news, feature a live concert performance. On stage in the coming weeks will be Kieran Goss, Fairport Convention, Eric Bogle, Karine Polwart, Frances Black and Sean Donnelly. Getting things of to a lively start in the first programme the superb traditional band Altan, recorded in McGrorys of Culdaff in their native County Donegal.
