The festival is short but oh so sweet. Festival Director, Kieran Gilmore, has put together an eclectic mix which is guaranteed to please the musical palette of all but the most pickie. The menu ranges from The Earl Brothers, whose album Troubles to Blame was listed by Bluegrass Now Magazine in its 2006 Top Ten, to Neo-Balkan gypsy-punk orchestra The Destroyers.
The festival has light, dark and a crazy streak to please the wild at heart.
The festival brings you Chilifest, a festival within a festival celebrating Cajun and Creole food, music and culture which runs from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th.
Gigs include bands such as the Agnostic Mountain Gospel Choir from Calgary, Canada and a punk blues night featuring Mudlow from Brighton and The Bonevilles from Lurgan...
