Mickey Bradley joined Northern Ireland's most famous punk rockers The Undertones in 1975 while at school. Mickey is bassist with the band, who are perhaps best known for their hit Teenage Kicks, which was famously John Peel's favourite song.
When the band originally split up in 1983, Mickey worked as a bicycle courier in
London before returning to his native Londonderry in 1986, playing records on
BBC Radio Foyle before becoming a radio producer.
Over the years, Mickey has produced everything from Hugo Duncan's outside broadcasts to political debates.
Mickey has been back with The Undertones for many years now and still plays with them sporadically. He is married with four children.
