| Name:
Hugo Duncan
Worst Job:
Many years ago I worked in a factory and I hated working shifts
4.00pm to 12.00pm and 12.00pm to 8.00 as it meant that I couldn't
get out to sing
Enjoys Radio Foyle because:
Radio Foyle is just like one big happy family - the people
are very warm and friendly.
Favourite recording artist:
Tom T Hall - without a doubt.
Favourite holiday destination:
Holidays - what are they?
3 Desert Island Essentials:
Gerry Anderson, Sean Coyle and George Jones.
Anything To Declare?
I started off my singing career in 1971 and have continued to
enjoy the music business ever since. I joined Radio Foyle about
15 years ago doing holiday relief. After that I was offered a
job presenting my own show on a weekly basis which, in turn, led
to a Sunday afternoon (3pm-5pm) show on BBC Radio Foyle which
I continue to do. In October 1998 I was given the opportunity
to present Country Afternoon - a daily programme on BBC Radio
Ulster. In recent years I have been involved in several different
Television programmes for BBC One Northern Ireland.

Elaine: Today saw 200 local people in Ardmore, Co Derry protest at the prospect of the 'green' bridge being closed at the behest of one person. Democracy in action, let's hope that the decision makers will, at least, listen to the protesters arguments.
