THEATRE OF WITNESS

Would you face an audience with nothing to tell but your own experience of the Troubles? For the first time, the Playhouse Theatre in Derry has brought the "Theatre of Witness" to the stage. It is intended to "humanise, inspire, bear witness, transform, and heal". And some of those involved, Nicky Harley from the project, and two performers, James and Victoria, told some of their emotional stories to Sarah Brett.

Texter: re more social housing...well all I can say is "there goes the neighbourhood". Call me a snob? Fair enough then I am a snob, but I worked hard to buy a property in a nice development along the Buncrana road and now it looks like its going to be swamped by council estates, people dependant on benefits who couldnt care less about their house!
