KENNY BREAKS SILENCE

The Derry City manager has spoken for the first time over the dual contracts controversy, which has led to the club's expulsion from the League of Ireland. The Candy-stripes are expected to be readmitted to the First Division next season, provided a new board can sort things out at Brandywell. Stephen Kenny says he and the players have been left in limbo and are waiting to find out what the future holds. Ritchie Kelly asked Mr Kenny whether he'd known anything about the secondary contracts which forced the FAI's hand?
